Registration deadlines for Three times exams a year officially announced by ICAI

The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India’s (ICAI) Board of studies has now announced officially about the enrollment deadlines for CA Foundation Exam and CA Intermediate exam in September 2024 and January 2025.

As per the Announcement The institution has decided that the from May/ june  2024 onwards CA Intermediate and CA Foundation Exam will be held thrice in a year instead of current practice of twice a year. Both the exams will held in the month of May/June, September and January but there is no changes in the final exams it will still take place twice a year in the months of May and November.

CA exams for all levels are used to be held twice a year, but this schedule now has been changed because of the New announcement . Now only the CA Final Exam will be held twice a year in May and November.

As per the new policy For the foundation examination students should meet all the eligibility requirements which is related to Institute’s Board of Studies that is student should registered at least Four months on or before the first day of the month in which examination is held besides other eligibility conditions defines in Regulation 25F.

However, for the Intermediate Course examination, students who are registered with the Institute’s Board of Studies have to attach their eight month study completion certificate as of the first day of the month in which the examination is held, along with additional eligibility requirements outlined in Regulation 28G, to be eligible to participate in the next exam.

Important Instruction:

  • May 1st is the last date of the registration for the CA foundation Exam for those who want to take the September 2024 Exam.
  • The Last date of registration for the CA Intermediate Exam for those who are appearing for January 2025 is May 1st  2024 via both routes.
