The CMA Examination is divided into 3 phases which are as follows:

3. CMA Final: The candidate should either be a commerce graduate/postgraduate with a minimum of 55% or a graduate/postgraduate in another stream with at least 60%

For clearing the CMA Examination, the candidate has to score a minimum of 40% marks in each individual paper and secure an aggregate score of at least 50% in all the papers

The number of attempts varies with the exam stage which are mentioned as follows:
1. Foundation Programme: 6 attempts
2. Intermediate Programme:  10 attempts(5 year span)
3. Final Programme: Unlimited Attempts

The mode of examination varies with the level of the examination:
