Eligibility Criteria for the CMA Inter Exam

To be eligible for the CMA Inter course, candidates typically need to meet specific academic qualifications and criteria, which are determined by the ICMAI. CMA Inter is a ten-month course that follows the CMA Foundation. CMA Inter is the second phase of becoming a Certified Management Accountant. Students will need to sit for this exam after completing the CMA Foundation Exam. The student's eligibility for CMA Inter is determined by the last educational level they completed. To enroll in the CMA Inter program, students must first finish the CMA Foundation course. Apart from the CMA Foundation, students who have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized board or institution can apply for CMA Inter.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized board or institution, the Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, or graduation in any discipline. Those waiting for the result can also apply for provisional admission.

Stream of Study

  • Passed SSC (10TH) or equivalent and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India/Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts/Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of the CAT of the Institute and Competency Level Part II Examination of the CAT of the Institut

Age Limit :

There is typically no specific age limit for CMA Inter candidates applying for the course. Candidates of all ages can apply. However, on the day of application, a candidate’s age must be 18 years or older

The candidates can register for the CMA Inter course online or through a regional office of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI)
