Eligibility Criteria for CS Professional Course Exam
To be eligible for the CS Professional course, candidates typically need to meet specific academic qualifications and criteria, which are determined by the ICSI.
Educational Qualification:
CS Professional exam is the final level in Company Secretaryship. Candidates who have cleared their Executive examinations will be eligible to undertake a Professional Programme.
The candidate is supposed to register for the ICSI CS Professional Programme nine months before the month in which the examination commences to be admitted to the programme.
A candidate registered six months prior to the examination month may be allowed to appear in any one or two module(s) of the Professional Programme.
The candidate must have undergone postal or oral tuition for the modules in which he/she intends to appear in the examination.
Stream of Study
You must have passed both modules of the CS Executive exams to be eligible.
To qualify for the CS Executive exam, you should score at least 40% in each subject and achieve an overall score of 50%. These are the current passing standards set by ICSI.
Age Limit :
There is typically no specific age limit for CS Professional candidates applying for the course. Candidates of all ages can apply.However, on the day of application, a candidate’s age must be above 17. And You should firstly successfully clear the CS Executive exam, then you’re eligible to proceed to the CS Professional exam.
