ICAI Postponed CA Inter and CA Final Exam in Punjab and Jammu City Due to Heavy Rain and Floods

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued an important announcement regarding the postponement of the CA Intermediate and CA Final Examination scheduled for 3rd and 4th September 2025. The decision affects only students in the State of Punjab and Jammu City, and comes in response to the on-going heavy rainfall and flood like condition in these areas.

As per the ICAI’s announcement, the examinations stand postponed in cities including Amritsar, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mandi Gobindgarh, Pathankot, Patiala, Sangrur, and Jammu City. ICAI has taken this step to ensure the safety of students who may be affected by the bad weather.

It is important to note that all other examinations details, as per the earlier announcement dated 30th May 2025, remain unchanged. Students from other parts of the country will continue with the schedule exams as planned.

ICAI has assured students that revised dates for the affected locations will be announced in due course. In the meantime, candidates are advised to regularly check the official ICAI website for updates.

This announcement provides much-needed clarity for students in the affected regions, allowing them to focus on safety while preparing for the upcoming rescheduled exams.
