Can anyone recommend a good teacher for Quant?

I am preparing for Banking and SSC exams.

I watched Rakesh Yadav Sir Number System videos on YouTube, but the course is incomplete, so I’m planning to buy a batch.

Can you suggest a good Quant teacher? I’m weak in Quant.

Also, what do you think about Aashish Arora Sir?

Most aspirants study every day. Yet many don’t clear Prelims.

It’s not about working hard. It’s about having the right direction.

Here’s what I see often:
• Practicing questions without analysing mistakes
• Revising everything but mastering nothing
• Giving mocks but not learning from them

Prelims isn’t about how much you study — it’s about how smartly you attempt.

Fix your strategy, focus on accuracy, and analyse your mocks properly. That alone changes everything.

If you’re serious about clearing Banking exams, this is where you start.

Congratulations to those who cleared IBPS PO Whichever org you join please keep the following things in mind- Circulars- ready and study each and every single one of them whenever you have free time. Just login to your internal circular portal and browse through daily uploads along with master circulars on basic topics like kyc, clean note exchange policy, branch oprations and deposit products. Circulars are one document that will save your neck if you follow them diligently. Upskilling- by all means your learning doesn't stop once you join banking service. Start going through JAIIB materials and aim to clear it asap with CAIIB later on. They will build your foundational skills along with extra increment perks to your basic salary. There are plenty of certifications which combined with departmental switch in your org can easily help you transition from government bank to corporate sector with higher CTC. Learn when to say no- not every weekend is a work day and not every target is your task. Agar nahi ho rha to no misselling of product for the sake of it. It fucks your branch reputation among locals. Be wary and attentive of anything going on in branch especially wrt security stationery items and keys. BoM recently suspended entire Mathura branch for frauds pertaining to stationery items and all the suspended staff was new. Thats it for now. Welcome to banking sector 😄 About me- cleared ibps 2019, switched to lunch hours almost 2 years back Addendum- For CAT and MBA aspirant, your bank workex literally outmogs every fresher and mnc workex in interviews so don't stop the learning process 😉

How to start my banking preparation?? I am feeling confused about how to properly start my banking exam preparation. My goal is to clear at least one banking exam this year, but I don’t have proper guidance or support. I had started preparing last year, but due to college exams, I had to discontinue, and now my concepts are average but unclear and weak in application. I am also confused about which paid banking course or Mahapack to choose, as the teachers I personally trust are spread across different platforms. I need guidance on: Where should a beginner/re-starter like me start from? Should I begin with concept revision or mocks? Where can I find beginner-level or diagnostic mocks to assess my current level? How should I plan my preparation realistically along with revision and mocks? Please guide me with a clear starting strategy.

🚨 IBPS Reality Check: You Cleared the Exam… But Still Lost the Job?

Recently, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection revealed something every banking aspirant must understand seriously.

👉 In the last few years (FY 2023 to 2026), 20 selected candidates lost their job offers due to poor credit history / low CIBIL score.

Let that sink in.

You can clear Prelims.
You can clear Mains.
You can even clear Interview.

❌ And still lose the job.

💡 Why does this happen?

Banks are not just hiring employees…
They are trusting you with public money, loans, and financial decisions.

That’s why a healthy credit score is now part of final selection criteria.

It reflects:

✔️ Financial discipline
✔️ Repayment behaviour
✔️ Risk handling mindset

⚠️ Hard Truth Aspirants Must Accept

Many students think:

“Sir, exam clear karna hi sab kuch hai.”

❌ That thinking is outdated now.

Your financial behavior = your professional credibility

📊 Why CIBIL Score Matters in Your Career (Not Just IBPS)

🔹 Banking Jobs → Mandatory check
🔹 Promotions in Financial Roles → Strong profile required
🔹 Loans / Credit Approvals → Direct impact
🔹 Corporate Hiring (Finance roles) → Increasingly relevant

Your score silently decides opportunities you don’t even see.

🎯 What Should You Do Today?

✔️ Avoid unnecessary loans
✔️ Never miss EMIs or credit card payments
✔️ Check your CIBIL regularly
✔️ Clear outstanding dues before joining

🧠 Final Thought

In today’s world,

👉 Knowledge gets you selected
👉 Discipline keeps you selected

Don’t prepare only for the exam.
Prepare for the responsibility that comes after selection.
