To be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2024, the candidate needs to meet these three requirements:

IBPS Clerk Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must fit into one of the following criteria to be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam:

1. Be an Indian citizen.
2. Be a Nepalese citizen.
3. Be a Bhutanese citizen.
4. Be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1st, 1962 and intended to stay permanently.
5. Be of Indian origin and have moved to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling.

IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification

A candidate must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university, or an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have a certificate as proof of passing the qualifying examination.
The candidate must have a valid mark-sheet / degree certificate proving that he or she is a graduate on the day of registration and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation when registering online.

Computer Literacy: Candidates must have operating and working knowledge of computer systems, which means they must have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language or have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of their subjects in high school/college/institute.
Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates must be able to read, write, and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which they wish to apply is preferred.
