Eligibility Criteria for CS Professional Course Exam

Educational Qualification:

CS Professional exam is the final level in Company Secretaryship. Candidates who have cleared their Executive examinations will be eligible to undertake a Professional Programme.

  • The candidate is supposed to register for the ICSI CS Professional Programme nine months before the month in which the examination commences to be admitted to the programme.

  • A candidate registered six months prior to the examination month may be allowed to appear in any one or two module(s) of the Professional Programme.

  • The candidate must have undergone postal or oral tuition for the modules in which he/she intends to appear in the examination.

Stream of Study

  • You must have passed both modules of the CS Executive exams to be eligible.

  • To qualify for the CS Executive exam, you should score at least 40% in each subject and achieve an overall score of 50%. These are the current passing standards set by ICSI.

Age Limit :

There is typically no specific age limit for CS Professional candidates applying for the course. Candidates of all ages can apply.However, on the day of application, a candidate’s age must be above 17.
