What should you do in Last Month? (Final Phase Strategy)

With less than a month left, your preparation strategy should be focused and exam-oriented.

1. Prioritize Revision Over learning

April is not the time to start new topics. Give more focus on:

  • Revising Concepts
  • Improve weak areas
  • Practicing questions

Revise only what you already know to make them stronger.

2. Solve Mock Tests in Real Exam Conditions

Solve at least 3-5 mock tests for each subject. This will:

  • Improve speed and accuracy
  • Build exam temperament
  • Help identify silly mistakes

Time bound practice is the key to success.

3. Revise ICAI material

At this stage students should only use ICAI study material, RTPs, and MTPs. Many questions are directly aligned with these resources.

Avoid switching between too many books – it only creates confusion.

4. Focus on High – weightage Topics

Smart study is crucial now. Identify topics that:

  • Carry more marks
  • Are frequently asked

This will help students to get more marks in minimum time.

5. Work on Presentation Skills

In CA exams, presentation matters:

  • Use proper formats
  • Highlight key points
  • Writing working notes clearly

A well- presented answer can fetch better marks.

Last 15 Days Plan before Exams

At this point of time students can either make their preparation strong or weak. Here’s a simple plan:

  • Daily Revision: Try to revise one or two subjects on a daily basis
  • Formula & Provision Revision: Especially for practical subjects
  • Quick Notes: Use short notes for quick revision
  • Avoid burnout: During revision, take breaks and sleep well

If you feel unprepared, don’t panic and give more focus to high weightage topics.

  • Manage your time effectively (do not get stuck on one particular question)

Common Mistakes to Avoid Immediately

  • Starting new topics at the last minute
  • Ignoring revision
  • Skipping mock test paper
  • Studying without a plan
  • Excessive stress

Avoid these and stay focused on your goal.
