In the SBI PO bank exam, the mains is the second stage, which further has two levels: an objective test and a descriptive test. It is important to note that the SBI PO 2025 mains bank exam is conducted online and consists of objective tests for 200 marks, while the descriptive test consists of 50 marks in the bank exam 2025 SBI PO.

In the new SBI PO 2025 mains objective test, there are four sections and a descriptive section.

There is a deduction of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer, similar to the prelims SBI PO bank exam, but no negative marking for unattempt questions in the bank exam of SBI PO.
