The Institute of company secretaries of India has now extended the number of attempts under old syllabus for CS Exams. As per the old syllabus the final exam for CS Executive and CS Professional were planned for June 2024 and December 2024, correspondingly.  

Although, these dates have been extended the CS Executive final exams are now scheduled for December 2024 and June 2025 for CS Professional.

ICSI CS Exam 2024: Extension of 2017 Old Syllabus Attempts for Executive and Professional Levels

An extra chance has been given by the Institute of Chartered Accountants for those students who are studying CS Executive and CS Professional Course under old syllabus. This is only for December 2024 and June 2025 exams. 

One More Attempt under 2017 Old Syllabus

As per the official notification by the ICAI, students who are enrolled in the Executive and Professional programme under the old syllabus can have one more chance to attempt the exams in December 2024 and June 2025.

In addition to this, as per the ICSI, students under old syllabus will switch to the new 2022 syllabus starting from June 2025 and December 2025 exam sessions. The institution made it clear that they will not be considering any more petitions for exceptions.
