The full form of CA is Chartered Accountant and helps individuals to get expertise in Auditing, Taxation, Business management and financial accounting. The demand for CA is very high in the financial sector. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is the regulatory body of the CA Course.

Which course is better? CA vs ACCA
Number of levels:
CA: There are three levels in this course, including CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, and CA Final which are further divided into groups. Students can get knowledge related to Accounting, Indian taxation, finance, Company law and Auditing. The CA course teaches you about Indian taxes.
ACCA: In this ACCA course, there are two levels, which are Fundamentals and Professionals. To become ACCA students need to pass 14 papers. This course is mainly focused on Accounting and Finance. Also, this will teach you the international laws of the UK and other countries.
Scope: CA has scope within India and a few other countries. The scope of ACCA has more than 180 countries.
Passing Marks:
CA: To pass the CA exam, students need to get at least 40% marks in each paper and an overall score of 50%.
ACCA: To pass the ACCA exam, students need to get at least 50% marks.
Articleship Training:
CA: Training is a necessary part of the CA Course, after clearing CA Inter level students can start their training. To be eligible for the CA final exam, it is necessary to complete the articleship training.
ACCA: This course has three years of articleship training. Students can start their training before, during or after completing the ACCA course.
Duration:
CA: To become a CA, if a student clears all the levels of exams in their first attempt then will take a minimum duration of 5 years.
ACCA: It will take 2-3 years to complete the course. In addition to this, they need to complete three years of training.
Which course is tougher CA and ACCA?
If we consider the passing percentage, subjects, Curriculum, and versatility then CA is tougher than ACCA.
The pass percentage of the CA Exam is very low, which makes it more difficult as compared to other courses. Hence, to clear the CA exam, students have to give multiple attempts, which increases the duration of the CA Course.
In the ACCA course, students will get an exemption according to their educational qualification. In this course, if you fail in a subject then you can give another attempt for that particular subject. On the other hand, in a CA course, you have to give the exam for all the subjects again.
Also, if you do both the courses together, then you will get a job in a top organization in India with a higher salary package.
